USA Wheelchair Rugby is pleased to announce that 37 athletes will be attending the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games Team Selection Camp, December 11-15, 2019. Thirty-nine athletes received an invitation to attend and the Selection Committee received one petition for an invite, which was granted. All athletes on this list are subject to the results of their background screen, per the new United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee Responsible Sport Organization (RSO) and Training Site background check policies. At the conclusion of the camp the committee will nominate up to 16 athletes who will train for a spot on the 2020 Paralympic Games Team, to be named in May. The Tokyo Paralympic Games take place August 25th-September 6th, 2020 with the wheelchair rugby competition running August 26th-30th. The team will also compete this season at the Quad Nations in Leicester City next February, the Tokyo Test Event in March, and finally Canada Cup in Vancouver next June. Congratulations to all those attending and best of luck!
