GIO 2018 World Championship Begins Sunday

The 2018 GIO IWRF World Championship begins this Sunday, August 5th.  The U.S. will open pool play Sunday against Colombia at 4 a.m. CDT and go on to face Great Britain in a match that will be shown live at 10:30 p.m. CDT that evening.  That action can all be viewed via the livestream here.  Recaps of each game including stats and highlights will be posted on usawr.org throughout the competition.

The U.S. comes into this World Championship as the number two team in the world behind host country Australia. The winner at the GIO World Championship not only takes home top honors but also secures their spot at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.
