Recaps from day one and two of the 2017 Tri Nations Tournament

Day One of the 2017 Tri Nations Wheelchair Rugby Invitational opened play with Japan and Canada. The theme of the first two games was offense, as the two winners of these games defeated their opponents in convincing fashion. It was Japan’s offensive domination over Canada that led them to a 59-37 victory. Game two between USA and Canada saw similar offensive control, as USA defeated Canada 64-36. The nightcap between USA and Canada was a nail biter with both teams playing great offense and defense. It was a close game from the start, but USA pulled out the victory 54-51. Tomorrow’s lineup begins at 11:00 A.M. with Canada vs. USA. Game two begins at 3:00 P.M. with a matchup between Japan and USA. Rounding day two is Japan and Canada at 7:00 P.M.

It’s hard to believe that day two of the 2017 Tri Nations Wheelchair Rugby Invitational is over and we’ve already played six games! Today’s play began with USA and Canada. It was a hard-fought game between both teams, but USA edged out the victory with a score of 63-45. Game two between Japan and USA was another very close matchup. It was neck and neck all four quarters, but Japan squeaked by with a 48-47 win over USA. The night game between Canada and Japan was equally as tough for both teams as Japan beat Canada with a score of 58-41. Friday’s lineup looks like this: 11:00 A.M. Japan vs. USA, 3:00 P.M.
