The International Wheelchair Rugby Federation (IWRF), in partnership with the Rio 2016 Organizing Committee has announced the competition schedule for wheelchair rugby. The announcement and schedule can be viewed here. The U.S. will open play on Wednesday, September 14th against France. The Americans will go on to face Sweden and Japan in preliminary play, semi final action begins on Saturday September 17th with the medal matches scheduled to be contested on Sunday September 18th.
