Tri Nations Recap: Day Three

Jen Allred on May 12, 2017

Day three of the 2017 Tri Nations Tournament opened with a fierce back and forth match up between the U.S. and Japan.  While the score was never more than a two point differential, Japan maintained the lead for most of the first three quarters.  The Americans came out strong to start the final quarter of play and notched their first lead but it wasn’t enough to hold off Japan as they edged back to win 55-54. The second game of the day was a decisive victory for Japan besting Canada 55-36.  The U.S. and Canada closed out Friday’s games with a 58-36 win for the United States.

The 2017 Tri Nations Tournament’s final day of competition is tomorrow, Saturday, May 12th.  Canada will face the U.S. at 2 p.m. CDT to determine who will go on to face Japan in the 7 p.m. CDT final. All tournament games are being live streamed here.
